Candy Shorts on Your Phone: No App Needed

Checked on Candy · October 29, 2026

Candy Shorts is made for phones: every episode is vertical and fills the screen. You watch it in the mobile browser on Candy.ai, with nothing to install. Here is how to set it up so it opens like an app, and how to keep it private.

Open Candy Shorts on this phone

Watching in the browser

Open Candy.ai in Safari on iPhone or in Chrome on Android, go to the Shorts section and tap a series to open its player. Episode 1 plays right there, with no account. If you sign in, your account and tokens are the same on your phone and on your computer.

Put Candy on your home screen

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open Candy Shorts in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen and confirm.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Candy Shorts in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu.
  3. Choose Add to Home screen (or Install app, if Chrome offers it).

The icon then opens Candy in its own window, without the browser bar, so it feels like an app.

Keeping it private

  • Use a private tab if you share the phone. Series titles are explicit and show up in history and in open tabs.
  • Watch muted or with headphones. Most series have subtitles in six or seven languages, so you can follow the story with the sound off.
  • Lock the home-screen icon in a folder if you add one, or skip it and use a bookmark instead.
